MSI BIOS Update Guide

Important: Do not disconnect the power supply during the BIOS update. Avoid pressing any keys on the keyboard, mouse, or plugging or unplugging any devices. Failure to update correctly may result in the device failing to boot/POST.
Preparing the BIOS File

Identify Your Motherboard Model
- Open the System Information program installed with Windows.
- Locate the section that says "Baseboard Product".
- Click on "Baseboard Product" and press Ctrl+C to copy the text.
- Paste this into your preferred browser or search engine to find the support page for your motherboard model.

Prepare the BIOS File
- Navigate to the support page for your motherboard model.
- Find the BIOS update file and download it.
- Plug in a USB drive formatted to FAT32.
- Extract the BIOS update files to the USB drive.
Updating the BIOS

Enter BIOS
- Shutdown the system via the Windows method.
- Turn on the PC and press the Delete key repeatedly to enter the BIOS.

Use M-Flash
- In the BIOS, use the arrow keys and Enter key to select the M-Flash section.
- Press Enter to confirm and the system will reboot into the Flash utility.

Select the BIOS File
- Locate the BIOS update file on the USB drive using the Flash utility.
- Press Enter to start the update process.
During the Update

- Do not shut down or reboot the computer.
- The computer should automatically reboot once the flashing is complete.
