If you're experiencing crashes and you're a Telstra customer, it may be due to a specific setting in your modem/router. Follow these steps to adjust the settings.
Adjusting Modem Settings
Access Your Telstra Modem Settings:
• Open a web browser and enter the following URL: http://telstra.gateway/
• If you have not changed your modem admin login details, use the default credentials:
• Username: admin
• Password: Telstra
Navigate to WiFi Settings:
• Once logged in, go to the WiFi section of your modem settings.
Disable WiFi PMF:
• Scroll down to find the WiFi PMF (Protected Management Frames) setting.
• Set WiFi PMF to Off.
• Save the settings.
Adjust Settings for 5 GHz Network (if applicable):
• If the crashes occur with devices connected to the 5 GHz WiFi network, repeat the above steps for the 5 GHz network.
• Ensure WiFi PMF is set to Off for the 5 GHz network as well.
• Save the settings.
